Then back down the steps.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The snowpack is still below average.\u00a0 The latest article I read said &#8220;68% of normal&#8221;.\u00a0 I always take issue with calling it &#8220;normal&#8221;.\u00a0 &#8220;Average&#8221; is the correct word, as the weather is never normal.\u00a0 Statistically, Colorado weather spends most of it&#8217;s time in the extremes.<\/p>\n<p>I tend to think the drought is over.\u00a0 Although we&#8217;re not going to make up for winter&#8217;s deficit of precipitation, it seems like spring is a little wetter than it was last year.\u00a0 This gives me hope that maybe there will be wildflowers this year.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1406\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/invertedsky.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/ss-8363.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1406\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1406\" title=\"ss-8363\" src=\"http:\/\/invertedsky.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/ss-8363-640x426.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/invertedsky.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/ss-8363-640x426.jpg 640w, https:\/\/invertedsky.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/ss-8363-200x133.jpg 200w, https:\/\/invertedsky.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/ss-8363.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1406\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Looking towards the mountains last week, from the flatlands, somewhere between Longmont and Berthoud, Colorado.
