I am feeling better both mentally and physically. I do have some angst for something new and different, and that’s a much better state than depression.\u00a0 Having a couple of days off really helps. What I really want is a road trip and time to satisfy my creative outlets, which have been mostly dormant this winter.\u00a0 The Utah desert with it’s orange and red landscape has been calling.\u00a0 But right now the weather isn’t much better there.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Sometimes there is a way through. The trick is being in the right place to see it.<\/p><\/div>\n
I woke to the sound of window rattling explosions.\u00a0 It was the ski area blasting avalanches.\u00a0 It’s been snowing, moderately to heavily, for the past couple of days.\u00a0 Usually this doesn’t happen until later in March or April.\u00a0 But perhaps with global warming, it’s coming early.\u00a0 There is three to four feet of snow in the yard with more heavy snow in the forecast.<\/p>\n
This morning when the neighbors across the road donned snowshoes, I thought they might be going for a outing with their dogs.\u00a0 Instead they made of couple of laps around their yard and called it a day.\u00a0 It was good to see the dogs getting a little exercise.<\/p>\n
I’ve been out for short snowshoe hikes, but haven’t had time for day-long excursions.\u00a0 My work load is still heavy.<\/p>\n
