I went out Saturday in search of flowing water. At this time of year, it’s not hard to find.

I like to use long exposure times to convey a sense of motion with the water. The first few photos are all of the same stream, but different points along the way.
I like this one because the water is flowing over wood instead of rocks:
I’ll be posting more water flow photos soon. The peak snow-melt run-off should be occuring in the next couple of weeks.

That one of wood over water reminded me vaguely of the beaver dam further up the road from my house. The next time you’re up, if you’re interested and we have the time, I’ll show you.
